Basic Medical Billing in the Dental Practice BEYOND THE BASICS
Speaker: Chris Farrugia, DDS
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Once dental practices are fundamentally sound in the claims process, medical claims may be successfully submitted for “beyond the basics” services to both commercial insurers and Medicare. Dental practices should access medical benefits for services such as:

- Reconstruction surgery and Implants
- CT Scans & much more.

- Learn how to increase claim success through the utilization of global medical policies
- Learn how to create workflow checklists that guarantee claim success
- Learn best documentation and Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) practices
- Learn to diagnose, code and create claims for surgery (Wisdom teeth, Bone Grafting, and Implants), appliances (TMD, Bruxism, OSA/Sleep Apnea), trauma, and even dental restorations (i.e. crown and bridge, core build-up, endodontics)
