Speaker: Susie McCullough
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Susie will facilitate break-out group discussions on the reality of integrating sleep and airway into a dental practice—the risks and the rewards. What are the risks? Staff being afraid of change? Patients not being open to having the dentist talk to them about sleep and airway? Doctors who are too busy to add anything else to their day? Through discussion groups, she will help course attendees look for ways to minimize these and other risks in order for practices to reap the rewards.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Understanding that change is hard
- Understanding that having an implementation strategy makes change easier
- Understanding how to integrate sleep into an already busy schedule and make it a success
- Understanding the benefits of treating sleep and airway—for the practice owner, the staff, and the patients
