ALD Pediatric Symposium

The Vivos Institute is excited to be sponsoring the upcoming ALD Pediatric Symposium on October 6, where Dr. Heit will be speaking about Pediatric Airway in Infants and Toddlers as Related to the Tethered Oral Tissues. Dr. Heit is an expert in sleep medicine and the treatment of sleep apnea. Prior to her role in dentistry, she was a nurse for 10 years, where she worked in plastic surgery and cardiovascular, thoracic, and intensive care. Then, she transitioned to dental care, where she has worked in general and craniofacial dentistry for 25 years. Not only is she a talented healthcare provider, but she is also an excellent public speaker. On top of her firsthand experience within the dental industry, she has spent 10 years lecturing orthodontists, medical doctors, and dentists on her research of sleep apnea and oral appliance treatment.

Dr. Heit has been particularly influential in the education and research of Vivos appliances. She has worked on several significant projects, such as the DNA appliance, VivoScore, and more. The Airway Summit

The Airway Summit is an ongoing source of education for dentists delivered by Summit Club.
