“We’re seeing more patients as a result of offering this treatment, and consequently, profits go up, revenues go up.”

Dr. Ray Garner on the Profitability of The Vivos System

This week on Vivos Voices, we visited with Dr. Ray Garner, a family and general dentist and skilled Vivos Integrated Provider (VIP).

Over the years, Dr. Garner has noticed commonalities amongst his patients: signs and symptoms that pointed to an underlying issue. This included dark circles under his patients’ eyes, exhaustion, morning headaches, and irritability. In children, parents complained of frequent bedwetting, behavioral problems, snoring, and tooth grinding.

After doing the research and discovering Vivos Therapeutics, Inc., Dr. Garner began educating himself on sleep apnea and attending courses and seminars hosted by Vivos. Once he opened his eyes to airway dentistry, there was no going back. Dr. Garner, like many VIPs, gained a true sense of purpose and rediscovered his passion for dentistry by changing and saving lives.

In addition to helping patients, becoming a VIP gives providers a chance to reach untapped revenue and expand their client base. “It’s a profitable treatment. It increases patient flow,” shares Dr. Garner. “We’re seeing more patients as a result of offering this treatment, and consequently, profits go up, revenues go up. In turn, there’s more referrals for just regular dentistry that we’re doing as well. Sometimes a patient will come in as a Vivos patient and love our office and love our staff, and next thing they know, they’re coming back for their regular dentistry as well.”

Vivos gives providers a holistic view of dentistry, equipping them with the necessary tools, knowledge, and support to expand their dental practice and find success.

“I’ve seen life-changing experiences from using this appliance, and in some cases, life-saving,” says Dr. Garner.

Hi, I’m Dr. Ray Garner. Uh, I work at Mountain Springs Dental in North Ogden, Utah. I’m a family and general dentist. Some of the most common issues that we see with patients who are suffering problems with sleep are, um, maybe some dark circles under their eyes. They may wake during the night more than once, may wake up with morning headaches. Um, with kids, there may be a bedwetting problem. There could be behavior problems, snoring, grinding their teeth with adults and children. It’s a profitable treatment. Um, it increases patient flow. We’re seeing more patients as a result of offering this treatment, and consequently, profits go up, revenues go up, that in turn, there’s more referrals for just regular dentistry that we’re doing as well.  Sometimes a patient will come in as a Vivos patient and love our office and love our staff, and next thing they know, they’re coming back for their regular dentistry as well. I’ve seen life-changing experiences from using this appliance, and in some cases, life-saving.
