Lori Facciolo on Helping Her Son Develop Naturally

This week on Vivos Voices, we visited with Lori Facciolo, a talented financial coordinator.

About two years ago, Dr. Kristin Tygani-Taylor, a talented dentist and outspoken VIP, introduced The Vivos Treatment to her staff. They were on board and ready to share this knowledge with their patients and change lives within one training session. For Lori, Vivos became personal as her son struggled with many common problems seen in children with underdeveloped airways and poor breathing habits.

“So, he started Vivos when he was 12, and after seeing his progression, he had an upper appliance only, and the lower teeth started to kind of come into place very naturally,” she shared. “He just looked at me one day and was like, ‘Mom, I can breathe through my nose now.’ It was crazy to think that this appliance changed him that much to where he started noticing things.”

We are in the early stages of this new type of dentistry, so while there is a bit of a learning curve, it all makes sense once the education is in place. The Vivos Treatment works. It addresses the root of many comorbidities and daily disturbances such as diabetes, heart disease, morning migraines, depression, moodiness, extreme fatigue, and more.

“So my experience with the Vivos support has been phenomenal. I mean, any question I ever have, they can either answer or fix for me. I’ve reached out to numerous staff members [and] everybody is, number one, the nicest people I’ve ever met, and two, like, I have an answer within that day,” shared Lori. “If I ever have a question, they are right there on top of it.”

Vivos is more than just a maker of oral appliances: We are a full-service program with support in place to help 24/7. In addition to integration specialists, VIPs have access to the entire network of providers to assist with any questions or challenging cases. The truth of the matter is that we’re currently in the midst of a sleep and breathing crisis, and with better education and proper treatment, we can change the face of dental healthcare forever.

“It really opened my eyes on how great this could all work out for all of our patients.”

Hi, my name is Lori Facciolo, and we’ve been a Vivos Provider for the past two years. I work for Dr. Kristin Tygani-Taylor, and we are located in Wilmington, Delaware. Um, our practice name is Tygani Family Dentistry. The one patient story that really hits it home for me is my son’s case. So, he started Vivos when he was 12, and after seeing his progression, um, he had an upper appliance only, and the lower teeth started to kind of come into place very naturally. He just looked at me one day and was like, ‘mom, I can breathe through my nose now.’ And I just kind of looked at him like, what are you talking about? Like, he was like, ‘no, like I, I’m doing it like by myself, not even realizing it. It was crazy to think that this appliance changed him that much to where he started noticing things. So my experience with the the Vivos support has been phenomenal. I mean, any question I ever have, they can either answer or fix for me. I’ve reached out to numerous staff members and, and everybody is number one the nicest people I’ve ever met and two like I have an answer within that day. Like an email, a phone call. I have all of their number just on a little post-it next to my desk. If I ever have a question, they are right there on top of it. When you really started to see the kids cases especially, um, that seemed to be a big turning point ‘cause we, we could relate to that as our kids as, as ourselves growing up. It really opened my eyes on how great this could all work out for all of our patients.
