The Vivos technology is the best for sleep apnea because it’s not just a Band-Aid.

Dr. Stella Nnadi on a Permanent Solution with Vivos

This week on Vivos Voices, we visited with Dr. Stella Nnadi, an exemplary dentist and trained Vivos Integrated Provider (VIP).

In addition to her dental practice, Dr. Nnadi was early to the game, recognizing sleep apnea as a global epidemic. She opened a clinic within her practice specializing in sleep disorders and treating them using traditional methods like mandibular advancement devices (MAD). “With that, you wear that for life. Now, when I heard there was something else, a technology called Vivos, and you don’t have to wear it for life, that was what really got me interested in Vivos. It was something more permanent for my patients,” shared Dr. Nnadi.

Providers and patients love that The Vivos Method is noninvasive, easy to implement, and nonsurgical. It’s a “healthy way to treat sleep apnea.” Once a patient is diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea, their VIP can fit them for a device. From there, the patient wears the device for 12–24 months with check-ups and adjustments. That’s it.

“Bringing Vivos into my practice really makes my practice a holistic practice that treats the whole body. You can see it in their outlook. They’re smiley. They’re more energized. Some of them actually lose weight. But you can see it just in their outside appearance.” Some patients notice improvements in their sleep and overall health almost immediately. In addition to their appearance, they feel better, and they’re able to live fuller lives.

“In my opinion, I think the Vivos technology is the best for obstructive sleep apnea because it’s not just a Band-Aid. Invest and try it out,” she said with a smile.

My name is Dr. Stella Nnadi in Charlotte, North Carolina, and we’re a general and cosmetic holistic practice. And I also have a sleep practice with a different name inside my dentistry. And the sleep practice is called Charlotte Sleep Solutions. So before I got into Vivos, I was doing, like I said, oral appliances which we also call MAD, mandibular advancement device. And with that, you wear that for life. Now when I heard there was something else, a technology called Vivos, and you don’t have to wear it for life, that is what really got me interested in Vivos. Something more permanent for my patients, cause Vivos is like, is non-invasive, you know. And it’s a healthy way to treat sleep apnea. Bringing Vivos into my practice really makes my practice a holistic practice that will treat the whole body. You can sit in the, in the outlook. They’re more, they’re smiling, they’re more energized. Some of them actually lose weight. But you can see just the outside appearance. In my opinion, I think the Vivos, um, technology is the best for sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea because it’s not just a band-aid. Invest and try it out. No regrets so far for me.
